Our philosophy is freequine. Freequine training works with, not against, the horse, allowing him to be free to use his body properly to reduce strain and injury.
Freequine riding means that tension and rigidity are eliminated, reducing the rider’s conflict with the horse’s movement. Energy and pressure are used to create synchronicity between horse and rider, while the rider’s body position is efficient, exerting control rather than communicating by force.
Freequine horsemanship classes cover basic horsemanship, groundwork, handling, grooming, tacking, saddling and saddle fitting, horse education, aptitude testing, centred riding, natural balance, rhythm and equine psychology.

Hello,
My name is Jocelyn and I am looking into finding a new place to board my 7-year-old thoroughbred Kai.
I wanted to board Kai in a place where I can work with him. He is still young and learning but he is a sweet horse and lives nicely in his herd. I am wanting to know a little bit more about your philosophy before I look into boarding further. It sounds very much like natural horsemanship, which I think has a lot of good points, but I also think that if my horse tries to bite me I am going to smack him. Also, if Kai is not listening i am going to want to run him in circles. I agree with creating a partnership but I also demand respect.
Can you tell me if this at all sounds like it would align with your views?
Thanks,
Jocelyn
