As one of the mares from the broodmare training challenge, Dolly is one of our success stories. Before she came to St. Andrews Stables, she was a broodmare–a baby-making machine–and had never been ridden. She was taken to the auction to be disposed of and likely would have gone to slaughter.
Instead, we bought her and gave her some much-needed training and love.
Our Dolly has gone from full-time momma to a calm and quiet mount who would be perfect as someone’s trail-riding companion.
